Quantum computing has always been an interest of mine since I’ve learned of its existence. It is so interesting to me because quantum computing completely subverts everything we know about classic computing. Thanks to the use of “superpositions” quantum computers are not bound the principle of bits being 1 or 0 or “On” or “Off” because any given “quibit” can be a 1, a 0, or a quantum superpositon of either of those states.

The event in the article I have linked is particularly interesting because it simulates an occurrence that can not and will not happen on its own in our world. Thanks to quantum computing we can learn more about base physics through simulating these seemingly impossible experiments.
