Artificial intelligence sheds new light on cell developmental dynamics

Researchers from the VIB-UGent Center for inflammation Research have developed a way to see what happens to a cell when it is activated, changing, or responding to variations in the environment in greater depth. This allows them to track cells throughout there growth and lifetime. Now with computational methods they have gained the ability to track and observe the different trajectories and pathways that the cells take within an organism. Also it allows them to see what they are doing differently when it comes to diseases. They have improved benchmarking and plan do keep on doing so also allowing you to have multiple methods of doing things with up to date software technologies and an interactive app.
