When I saw that SanDisk and Micron were able to squeeze 1TB of storage on a piece of removable media so small I was amazed. For reference, most consumer PCs or laptops have 1TB of HDD or SSD storage or less in form factors that are much larger than the footprint of Micro SD cards. Having access to cards of this size means wonders for mobile power users who store large amount of data in the form of video, picture, games, etc. While the price-tag will be high at release, it is likely that eventually prices will drop.
What do you think? Would you have a use for such a large capacity Micro SD card or would you pass?
